Northern Red Squirrels is the umbrella group for all volunteer red squirrel groups in the North of England. Visit their website to find out if there is a group in your local area. 

Red Squirrels South Scotland is our sister project in the Scottish Borders. We are working closely together to coordinate our efforts.

Remoti Systems:www.remotisystems.comThese are battery operated devices that notify the user when a trap door has closed, thus helpful for animal welfare by reducing the time to respond be the operator. Cost is about £45/year for one device. It has proven to work well in Kielder where mobile signal is low. The website has helpful advice pertaining to the legal side of using these devices.
